Biz Foreign Languages
is a website for executives and professionals and all other adults
who want to or need to learn a foreign language. It
is for those who need to start speaking the language
quickly. The ability to communicate with clients,
patients, employees, etc. is paramount.
While you may personally be interested in the culture, history,
literature and art of the country / language you are
studying, that may not be your focus at this time.
Foreign language study is an investment of your time and money. It
deserves very personal attention. Since learning a
foreign language is about meeting people and
communicating, we strongly believe that your choice
of an appropriate program should be more than an "E"
or I experience. Please feel free to call
whenever you have questions.
We are available to answer all your questions, 7
days a week, from 9:00 AM to midnight (and beyond).
Background Information
The vast majority of foreign language learning
websites do not address the specific, immediate,
needs of businesspeople; they are for students and
teachers. Active Language Learning Programs has
been set up by me, Louise Harber, using my 30 years
experience sending students (of all ages) to foreign
language and cultural programs abroad. .

Service
(FLSAS)
was started after my experiences studying in four
different types of programs (3 in Spain and one in
Germany). It is the oldest continually operating
Foreign Language Study Abroad Service in the United
States. My study abroad and living abroad in
foreign language learning (including translation)
programs totaled approximately 3 1/2 years. From my
personal experiences and the experiences of others
and from my observations over the years, I believe I
know what "works" and what does not.
I hope that my experience and experiences will make
your experience a more positive one.
