Refund Policy:
Please note that scheduling lessons is difficult. There
are many time zones involved. We
have to be strict about participants giving notice if they
cannot take part in a scheduled lesson.
No refunds or credit will be given for missed or same day
cancelled lessons by the student. A minimum of 48 hours
notice is requested for any Cancellation. (Remember
different time zones.) If less notice is given, an attempt
will be made to make up the lesson/lessons but cannot be
guaranteed.
Requests for Cancellations of a scheduled lesson can be
verbal but must be followed up by e-mail immediately for
your own protection.
If you start the lesson late, every attempt will be made
to give you the complete lesson (50 minutes). It might not
be possible if the teacher has other lessons scheduled.
If for whatever reason your teacher is not available to give
the lessons and another teacher is not available to give the
lessons, you will definitely receive the lessons at another
time. Every effort will be made to let you know this in
advance.
If the teacher is late for the lessons, the additional
time will either be made up at the end of the lesson, or at
some other time if at the end of the lesson is not
convenient for either the student or the teacher.
If you cancel the same lesson 3 times, you will
forfeit one lesson.
If during the lessons, the connection is not good over a
period of 5 or 10 minutes a make-up lesson for the
remaining amount of time will be scheduled. However, the
lesson in progress will be halted. You cannot request a
make-up lesson for a lesson that was taken in its entirety.
Most
of the time, the quality is very very good. However, this
is a new technology. It is possible that in a session there
will be momentary hiccups (the technical term is delays)
in transmission. In most cases, it is a very very short
term, momentary / seconds glitch. It does not influence the
content or overall quality of the lesson. You must accept
this. See above paragraph. If this happens over a period
of 5 to 10 minutes., the lesson will be halted.
Your connection will be tested before
the first lesson starts to make sure you have everything set-up
properly. If you need to change some equipment during the course of
your lessons, make sure that it does not interfere
with your set-up. You will not be given a refund
because you no longer have a webcam, headset, etc, or if
they malfunction, and/or you do not want to continue with
the lessons. If you do change some equipment, you
should request to test it before your next lesson.
There will be no refunds for unused lessons, however you
will be given up to one year to finish them.
The lessons cannot be transferred. Each persons requirements are different.
If two or more people sign up together, the same people must take the lessons together. If one person in
a group does not take a lesson, there will be no make-up lesson
for that person alone.
If two or more people sign up together and it is determined
they are not at the same level, the instructor reserves the
right to divide the lessons to meet the needs of the
participants. All can listen in on all the lessons, but the
material will be directed first to one student and then the
other; one at the appropriate level of one student and one
at the level of another.
